“ I love this neighborhood bakery. My all time favorite treats are their Valentine's Day shortbread buttercream cookie sandwiches, Sunday only cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing, Nite Cookie's rice crispy treat cookie, and their chocolate chip cookie! Their card only Friday/Saturday window with cookies from 5-9 pm is a welcome addition to the dessert desert on Balboa. They are also very involved in the local community and each holiday season they give back to children in need by running a donation campaign. Support this amazing woman run business and feed your sweet tooth! ”
“ Love this little neighborhood gem of a bakery! The pastries are delicious -- haven't been disappointed yet. They usually close at 4PM, but on Friday and Saturday evenings they do a thing called "Nite Cookie" where they sell some specialty cookies from 5-9PM. We got a cowboy cookie (macadamia, white chocolate, raisins, and other tasty additions) with a giant block of vanilla on top. So decadent but delicious with the warm cookie. Just FYI everything is to go, there isn't anywhere to sit. Lots of cute benches and parklets on Balboa though. ”
“ You cannot go wrong with anything you order here! Everything is so flavorful, rich, and delicious!! I always go for a treat and end up with a whole box. Definitely one of my top bakeries in SF! ”
“ The Little Niece loves their chocolate chip cookies so one night as we walked (steps for me, Pikmin for her), we stopped by for one (and a peppermint schnapps one for her sister). They had special hours weekend nights just for cookies. And one Sunday I stopped for some snacks. Their breakfast sandwich was pretty tasty. There was a chocolate peppermint bundt cake. But what caught my eye was the ham and cheese strada, a lovely savory bread pudding. That I am still craving. So glad the Niece introduced me to their yumminess. I will be back. Hopefully sooner rather than later. ”
“ We came toward the end of the day so selection was limited but I was happy with the options! The scone was perfect consistency, lots of layers and the right amount of dense. It had a great umami flavor that I didn't expect. The cowboy cookie was buttery with strong nut flavors. Prices were reasonable and the worker was very helpful! ”
“ Stopped by here while roaming on Balboa Street. We looked through the window and I got pulled in by the scones! I love fruit scones, but, being so late in the day, the only ones they had were a strawberry white chocolate chip scone and savory ones. I definitely prefer sweet scones, but for some reason, I prefer fruits with nuts and no chocolate, white or otherwise! Alas, I couldn't leave without purchasing something since the guy at the counter was so nice and personable, so I got enticed into buying a chocolate chip cookie. Wow, it was still slightly warm and so delicious! It was $4, but it was a fantastic delight to my day! I'm sure I'll stop by again when I'm out wandering, but I hope I get there early enough to sample more of what they have! ”
“ I ate my ham and cheese croissant before I took a picture of it. It was epic. Truly. The butter, the flakes, the yum. The line was short, but slow. I think the counter person was new because they didn't know their products. It doesn't matter. Everything in the window looked amazing. I want to try the chicken pot pie next. ”
“ Bike riding through the neighborhood and decided to stop by for some pastries. Wish they placed signs to note the items in the display. There is a sign outside of the bakery noting some of the offerings, but I wouldn't be able to know what item was what otherwise. Ordered a mini ube coconut croissant- crispy exterior and flaky but not enough ube or coconut flavoring for me. Hubs ordered a baked item that had bacon on top, an egg and tomato jam inside, and whole thing topped with a lemony labne sauce. Yum, especially that sauce. Can be quite messy, so be sure to have some napkins handy. He also ordered another pastry that looked like a croissant muffin - crispy and not too sweet. As mentioned, there were no signs identifying the other items available. Maybe we would've ordered more if we knew what the other things were. ”
